What the difference between HDMI and AV Jack?

HDMI(High Definition Multimedia Interface),HDMI is professional digital output/input, that support transmit both audio and video at the same times, the highest transmission speed is 2.25GB/s.

AV jack is for transmit audio video by separate, it’s consist of Red, White, Yellow, cable, the Yellow is for transmit video signal, the Red is for transmit left audio, and White is for transmit right audio.

HDMI AV Sender including which jack?

A HDMI AV Sender(known as HDMI video sender) contains a Transmitter and a Receiver. The transmitter jack including one group HDMI input and one group HDMI output, DC input and IR cable jack. The receiver jack including one group HDMI output, DC input.

How to connect the HDMI AV Sender(Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver)?

First, Let’s connecting the transmitter: Two sets tv only need one sets AV Sender(one transmitter and one receiver), the first step should be connect the Satellite TV receiver with the transmitter by HDMI Input, and connecting the HDMI Output with the nearest tv by HDMI Cable, and connecting the plug.

Second, connecting the receiver with TV, just connect the HDMI Output with the second tv and connecting the power, then it will be work.

Please pay attention:

Put the transmitter near to the Satellite TV receiver, and keeping the transmitting window extrudes out by 1 to 2 cm and vertically aims at the receiving window of the IR signal of the satellite receiver device.

Or, you can hidden the transmitter at any place, just keep the transmitter far away from the satellite receiver, and connecting the IR able with the transmitter.

Why keep the transmitter far away from satellite receiver if connecting the IR cable with transmitter?

That because if the transmitter and the satellite TV receiver getting closely will cause IR conflict. If the IR remote is insensitive, then we will suggest you use the second method—keep the transmitter far away from the satellite receiver.
